The goal of the collaboration with Summiteer was the development of a user-friendly and functional website that presents the company as a leading venture capital and private equity provider in southern Germany. Summiteer invests in companies with innovative business models that create sustainable value and supports start-ups in various industries such as energy, software, mobility, and consumer goods.
Our job was to present the corporate vision and the portfolio in a modern, appealing manner to position Summiteer as a strong partner for sustainable business models.

Process
To meet the requirements, we worked closely with the Summiteer team, especially with the Product Owner, to develop a tailored solution. The project began with a thorough analysis of the existing requirements and a clear definition of the desired functions and goals.
Based on these insights, we developed a modern web design tailored to the target audience, which is both visually appealing and functionally convincing.
Individual development solutions
In addition to general website development, we have individually programmed two special areas:

Hero Section: The introduction to the website should immediately highlight the portfolio and ventures of Summiteer. For this purpose, the Hero Section has also been custom programmed to present the most important information and projects in an innovative way. This solution ensured that visitors received a lasting impression of Summiteer's work right when they entered the page.
The individually designed hero area of the Summiteer website showcases a dynamic presentation of JayKay GmbH, one of the portfolio companies. This area serves as an impressive entry point to the Summiteer website and introduces the key ventures in an engaging and visually concise manner.

Portfolio View: Summit's diverse investments and ventures posed special requirements for presentation. To meet these demands, we developed a user-friendly portfolio view that allows filtering by specific criteria and clearly presenting the individual companies. This functionality could not be covered by conventional plugins, so custom programming was necessary .
The individually developed portfolio view allows users to explore the Summiteer investments in a structured and interactive way. With intelligent filtering functions, the ventures can be searched by investment year, category, and other details, providing a user-friendly experience.
Challenges
One of the biggest challenges was to present the extensive portfolio of Summiteer clearly and interactively without compromising user-friendliness. It was important to create a structure that allows users to quickly and specifically search for relevant information.
In addition, creating a distinctive entry point to the website was essential to immediately capture the interest of visitors and ensure a clear communication of the company's vision.
The icons represent the various business fields in which Summiteer operates: consumer goods, energy, food, industry, mobility, and services. These clearly designed symbols convey the diversity of investments at a glance.
Results
Through the individual programming of the portfolio view and the hero section, we were able to create a user-friendly and functional website that positions Summiteer as a leading partner for sustainable and innovative business models.
The website stands out with its modern design and tailored features, clearly differentiating it from standard solutions. This led to an improved user experience and helped Summiteer effectively present their diverse engagements.
